NegativeZeroBC: Cola Comparisons

"Interesting....Coca Cola or Pepsi Cola: a paradox" -(fake) Albert Einstein
A paradox indeed, Einstein. This has probably been one of the greatest debates in pop drink history. Although they have almost the same taste and chemicals in them, people still insist on having only one brand.
Coke came out first. It has more caffeine in it, thus resulting in more hyperness, which is why some kids like it more. It's pretty sweet when you first drink it, but then it has a nasty aftertaste which you have to wash down with more Coke. It also leaves a gritty feeling on your teeth.
Pepsi is known as a copy, which is why some people don't like it as much. But, Pepsi doesn't have much caffeine (at one point they totally eliminated caffeine). It's more sweet than Coke, but it doesn't have the aftertaste or gritty feeling. The unfortunate thing is that Pepsi is more addictive than Coke.

In my opinion, I would have to say that I prefer Coke over Pepsi. Some reasons why is becasue it is more original than its rival who tried to copy it. And I belive the taste of Coke has a stronger taste than Pepsi which I usually think has a taste which almost feels "lighter" than Coke. Then there is also the distinctive taste which Coke has that cannot be surpassed!
Yet, there are aslo some reasons which bring coke down a bit. I have to agree that I distaste that gritty feeling which stays in your mouth for awhile. (it makes other things taste weird!) Also I have been told that you musn't brush your teeth for about an hour after you drink coke. The acids in coke make your teeth gritty which also make them soft. Then if you brush your teeth, the toothbrush will make grooves in your teeth.
Despite those reasons... COKE RULES! Although I have to admit Pepsi makes really good commercials.
